Making Articles To Sell
At a recent meeting of the Julia Hagood Graham missionary circle of the Flint Hill Baptist church, the members promoted a scheme which they say .will not onljr help the missionary cause, for which all missionary sdfcieties are organized, but will help each one of the members individually.
Each member taking a dollar for starting capital, the girls are using their talents in making saleable articles which can be used for small gifts for various occasions, such as birthday gifts, bridge prizes, and any other small remembrances. Profits are turned into the circle treasury, and the capital- used again, with hopes of more profits.
The circle is divided into two teams, the Whizzers and Buzzers, and the girls are expending their energies vicing for more sales for their respective teams.
Purchases which can be made from members of the missionary circle are as follows:
Fancy crocheted pot holders— Mrs. Buck Williams.
Bridge table covers and napkins —Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr.
Christmas cards—Mrs. Earl Edmonds.
