Having served you as Sheriff of this county since May IS, 1950, I hereby announce myself as a candidate for election, subject to the November election.

On June 6, 1951, I filed a declaration of candidacy with the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee and a few days later I was d^plared the Dembcratic Nominee for Sheriff of Rappahannock County.

Should you see fit to elect me ob November-6th, I, will -endeavor to render to you the same service l have given you for the last 14 months. >
