Large Families
We have a happy home, three hue boys, and ore mutually happy, as hur band and wife. For the last year or so. i have hud « desire to have one or two more children, maybe even a girl! Or even more boys, as I love them all. The idea of th%'ild-fashioned family strikes me favorably and I love it! However, in moments of consideration, l realize the strenuousness of these times, the financial responsibilities, doing our best by the three we now have; and in addition, the vital need for help in the communities, the schools, the churches. Is it practical, or advisable, in these days to Jsave a large family? My husband agrees with my attitude.
It seems to me that you and your husband may be just the ones who should have a large family.
Certainly you should not let the needs of thf church and the community for your services deter you from having additional children. There is no better way to serve either than by bringing up to maturity fine, intelligent children who are socially and spiritually sensitive.
If your family income, therefore, is such that you -can assure your children wholesome living conditions and adequate educational opportunities, there wotifd seem to be no reason why you ahould not have the family you desire.
