The visiting musicians that were here to play with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, at the first concert at Avon Mills, were served a delicious luncheon at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh. It waff to be served outside but due to rain. Mrs. DeBergh opened her house and welcomed the guests with true southern hospitality. The second concert to be held at Avon Mills will be Sunday, August 10. We ue all hoping for good weather, but the Hagerstown Almanac says rain, not only on thei 10th but on August 26 which will be the date of the third and last concert at Avon Mills this summer. So come prepared in case of rain, you folks who come from a distance, as well as us home folks. -
