Mr, ocnwariz was a most successful businessman, having been in the mercantile business in Sperryville for forty years. He was a devoted husband and father, a loyal and kind friend to all mankind.
Funeral services were held at his home near Sperryville February 8 at 3 o'clock, with interment in the family section of Hebron i Lutheran Cemetery in Madison. Services were conducted by Rev. ip. H. Ohelf of Roanoke and Dr. W. G Pendeton of Rappahannock.
Active pallbearers were J. W. Fletcher, R. E. Wood, James Smith, John P. Snead, S. E. Honing, Carson Johnson, Ned Woodward, and Charles Estes. Friends and neighbors acted as pallbeart •ntr'* z. .. -■ . ....__...
