With the sincerest form of flattery—imitation—Fauquier and Culpeper counties have picked up the idea of encouraging pasture improvement with special publications.
Two years ago, in 1950, County Agent William H. Lyne, with the co-operation of the weekly newspaper, brought^ out a special issue of Rappahannock News, calling it the Pasture Improvement EditionCopies went throughout the south and sountheast, as agriculture research was calling for an intenslfiel program of pasture improvement to help the problems of the nation by improving land and production of livestock.
In January, 1952, the Fauquier county newspaper published a special section on pasture improvement, and today one of the county newspapers in Culpeper has issued special pasture improvement section in their weekly publication.
