F. D. Coffey, who has been quite sick for some time, was at the University of Virginia Hospital on Friday and again Tuesday for examination. Mrs. Coffey accompanied him to Charlottesville.

Guests in the home of Mr. and ' Mrs. Sidney Perry over the weekend were their son and daughterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Perry and son of Charlottesville. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins were also guests of their parents on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hawkins and family, Mrs. Ashby V^ayland and sons, Jimmy and Tommy motored over the Skyline Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayl*,T'd rv*» Saturday evening additional guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland were Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and sons, Mrs. Helen Bruce and son, Francis' Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Brown, John Revercomb and Frank Brown. They enjoyed a canasta game after which refresh, ments were served.
