We grass roots Americana need to make up a/d be real Americans in more way* than one, however, I refer at this time particularly to the necessity of having trained volunteers in the Ground Observer Corps right here in Rappahannock.

Now I realise several of you who have read this far/have felt like saying, “Baloney, ground observation didn’t help in the last war or, is only needed during a /world war.” Well, I’m not an alarmist, however, I say without hesistancy that we are (1) much more subject to an aireal attack than we were ten years ago and (2) that no one wants another Peart Harbor!
