nus the ground observer corps with n post every eight miles apart or thereabouts becomes a very definite link in our defense program. As activities of all three of the above protective organizations are coordinated each depending on the other. You depend on- the interceptor planes of the aircorps, they depend on observers and radar, and radar depends on observers and vice versa.
In Rappahannock the aircorpa have selected four places for observation posts: Sperryville, Huntly, Washington, and Amissviile. Each of these posts should have: one post supervisor, a chief ohsar\‘er and 24 observers so the job will not create a hardship on anyone. Posts are to foe manned only during test runs, not daily.

X-RAY CLINIC TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 25 AND 26 .
A 14x17 x-ray clinic will be held at Rappahannock County Health Department, on February 25 and 26. Anyone wishing to be x-rayed is asked to obtain a note from your doctor and call Washington 2631 for an appointment. The charge for this x-ray is 61.60.
