Mortaman J. Welch
Mortaman J. Welch, 76, died Monday, February It, at his home near Washington. Mr. Welch, son of the late Aldridge Welch and Cumberland film Huff Welch, is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Susie Pullen, of Washington, and two sons, Jack Welch of Richmond, and Horace Welch of Front Royal, and several grandchildren. Graveside services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with R^v. M. E. Sliger officiating. Interment was in the family section of the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Welch was 79 years of age and had been in failing health for some time. Pallbearers were John B. Updike, B. F. Updike, Aubrey Keyset, Joe D- Keyser, C. J£. Giles, W. H. Massie Jl. Lester Yates, and H. T. Updike.
" HUNT ENTERTAINED AT /‘HAMPDEN HALL” Mr- and Mrs. Wade H. Massie III entertained the field of Rappahannock Hunt on Saturday. The hunters met at Massie’s Double Gates earlier in the day.
