Mr*. Curry Carter Named
Co-chairman of Dinner
Mrs. Curry Carter of Staunton has been named co-chairman of the Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner to be held Saturday, February 23, at Hotel John Marshall, Richmond.
Mrs. Carter, who will be also chairman of a tea from 4 to 5 p.m. preceding the dinner, worked with women members of the executive committee of the Democratic State Central Committee in organizing women in each county to sell tickets and secure contributions to the dinner.
Mrs. Carter and her 'husband, Senator Curry Carter, make their home at “Long Meadows” near Staunton. On their farm he raises Aberdeen Angus cattle and she raises cats.
