MISS MARJORIE SNEAD "FLIES THROUGH THE AIR**
On a brief, bat exciting soloflight, Miss Marjorie Snead decently took to ttte air. On one Of her . daily tripe to her work in Orange, Mies Snead suddenly found the horse-power in a coltish 'mood. Firmly seated behind the steeringwheel, with her paws planted upon that guiding apparatus, the lady sat while her motor-buggy turned sideways and skyward. Into the "wild blue yonder" soared the vehicle, with iMiss Snead as pilot. Clearing a fence with the ease of a bird, Miss Snead made a perfect, if slightly rough, four-point landing in the field.
Some mechanic will probably say, "Steering pin broke," and that will remove all the glamour of the story. Miss Snead might have enjoyed at least a black eye, or a cut lip, or some mark whereby she could have solicited sympathy, but alas! she wears a small band-aid on a meager scratch on an ankle.
