* Mr. and Mrs. William Payne announce the birth of a son, William Luther, bom in Winchester Memorial hospital, Friday, February 13.
BRIDGE PARTY Mrs. Elizabeth Harris DeBergh entertained the Washington Bridge club with additional guests at the benefit card party given by the Amissville Auxiliary of the fire department. Her guests were Mrs. J. R. DeBergh, Mrs. George H. Davis, Mrs. Lewis J. Turner, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. D. D. Miller,. Mrs. G. W Smith Jr., Mrs C. T. Bruce, Mrs. R. L. Massfe, Mrs. J E. Keyser and Mts. R. V. Snead. High prizes were awarded for each table. Mrs. John R. DeBergh, Mrs. W. F. Moffett and Mrs. B M. Miller received the high prizes for Mrs. DeBergh’s guests and Mrs. John DeBergh won the traveling prize. After the game delightful refreshments were served by the Auxiliary. '
