Mrs. James J. Miller is staying at, ‘Thornton Hill” With Mrs.. Mildred Thornton while the Fletchers and family are vacationing in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown spent Sunday in Rixeyville with Mr. and Mrs. James Button. Guests on Sunday of Mrs. Annie T. Bruce in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ennis Brown were Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Miss Louise O’Bannon entertained at dinner on Sunday having as her guests, Rev. Arthur Ribble and his daughter, Miss Beverly Ribble of Boyce, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, William Yancey and Mrs. Lute Quaintance, who returned to her home in Woodville after a week’s visit with Miss O’Bannon. Miss Charlotte Golladay, music instructor in Rappahannock schools, spent the week end in Lynchburg.
Robert W. Sealock of Washington, D. C. spent the Week end at the Lee Highway hotel with his mother, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock.
Mrs. C H. H. Branch had as her luncheon guests on Sunday Mr and Mrs. Janies Atkins and daughter, Miss Maureen Curry.
Mrs. Della B. Howard is a patient in the Garfield hospital in Washington D. C. where she underwent a major operation several days ago. She ii reported to be improving very satisfactorily.
