REVIVAL AT FLINT HILL
The Baptist-Methodist revival begins in Flint Hill Sunday night, April 26,, at 7:30. Rev. R. L. Broughman will be the visiting minister. The, week-night services will begin at S o'clock.
Rev. Profitt will be speaking at the Washington Baptist church Sunday nigty.
GOES TO FAR EASV
Capt. and Mrs. C. J. Stuart of Portsmouth are on a visit of several days with Capt. Stuart’s mother, Mrs. W. M. Stuart. Capt Sturat, MC, USN, has been in charge of the Naval Hospital and of the Hospital Corps School at Portsmouth for several years, but he has been transferred to Japan and plans to leave in the near future to assume his Far Eastern duties. Mrs. Stuart will remain in the states for a short while before joining her husband.
ATTEND BANQUET • Among those from Rappahannock who attended the banquet given in honor of Judge and Mrs. J. R. H. Alexander at Goose Creek Tavern on Thursday evening were Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Davis Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Moffett Jr.
