Mr. and Mrs. John Wood and son, Jenner, of Cleveland, Ohio, were overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. Wood’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller of “Millermead.” The Woods were en route home from an extended trip. Among the places they visited were Wilmington, N.C., Ponte Vedra, Fla., and Atlanta, Ga., where they visited Mr and Mrs. Preston Avery.

Mrs. D. B Burton is on a visit of several days to Miss Lottie Burton.

Mrs. L. V. Merrill and Miss Lottie Burton visited Miss Frances Dulaney of Etlan and Mr. and Mrs Charles Aylor of Aylor, on Friday.

Thh Rev. Mr. Kerr, who is conducting the Methodist-Baptist revival, is making his headquarters with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Compton.

Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Eubank of Roanoke are visiting Mrs. J. Frank Jones and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at “Delamore.”

Miss Marjorie Snead, Miss Mary Miller Wood, and Mrs. John A. Keyser visited Miss Frankie Keyser and the Misses Mary and Elizabeth Snead in Washington, D.C., on Sunday.
