State of Virginia is host to the , nation during the annual Garden Week. Even though there will be no gardens open in this immediate vicinity, there will be many tourists passing through and the appearance of our community will make a lasting impression. It is a much nicer feeling to be proud of our Town, rather than apologetic, so let’s everyone make an extra effort to put our best foot forward.

HOW SUBMERGED LANDS BILL AFFECTS VIRGINIA -

During the Senate’s debate on the Submerged Lands Bill I have been somewhat disturbed by indications of a widespread misunderstanding of the issues involved.
