Compton of Washington and E. J. Singleton of SperryviHe applied for membership in Rappahannock Dairy Breeders Association last week subscribing two and three oows respectively.
Gordon Thornhill, inseminator for the association, reports eleven cows being bred last week belonging to: Windsor Lodge Farm, Miss Eda Finks, Woodrow Coughlin, James L. Bray, F. E- Compton and one of his own. It is very gratifying to see an organization of this sort grow.

As much as we may dislike facing it, the Rabies situation is worse now than in 1952. No doubt many of us (including myself) were wishing for the impossible in hoping that our county-wide dog vaccination program last year would be the answer to and practically the end of the epidemic. There is no doubt about the probability of our current rabies problem being‘much more serious had not our Board of Supervisors passed the vaccination ordinance however it now appears we should continue vaccination this year and perhaps for several years.
