FIREMEN WILL MEET
In order that the Rappahannock volunteer fire companies may put on the planned Minstrel Show in June, it is necessary for all groups (Amissville, Sperryville, and the Washington companies) to meet tomorrow night, Friday, May 22, at 8 p.m at the firehouse, Washington, to arrange the program. It 4s also necessary to have a trial practice and arrange other business matters concerning the show.

Charles Burke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Burke was taken to Front Royal Hospital on Monday, where he underwent an operation. Latest reports are that Mr. Burke’s condition is satisfactory.
