each of the H.D. clubs.
Special emphasis is being placed on work with the 4-H’ers and on recreation for the communities. The community recreation plans this year were: bus trip to Charlottesville and club picnics in each community. —4-H clubs have 131 girls and 110 boys enrolled in club work this year. Many adults voluntarily help these 4-H’ers with their project work and in their club activities Some of them are listed :

Amissville— Mrs. Marion Rowzie, Mrs. Bill Laing, Mrs. Katherine Riley.
Fo;est Giove—Miss Mary Bruce and Mrs. Clarence Scott.
Woodville—-Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Mrs. Ruth Orange.
Belle Meade—-Mrs, Una Halm.
Sperryville—Mrs. Billy Brown.
Washington—Mrs. Arlene Wake and Mrs. Clabert Smoot.
Four families have been improving their living rooms and kitchens. This year Mrs. Marion Rowzie is upholstering a complete set of furniture for the living room. Mrs. C- B. Johnson and Miss Louise Schwartz are redecorating walls and making slip coveis for their furniture.
Mrs. Carson Lillard, Mrs. H. J. Racer, and Mrs. Jack Bruce are remodeling their kitchen. These ladies have rearranged their kitchen for convenience and stepsaving, building in cabinets .for extra storage a’nd re-doing the w^alls, woodwork and floors.
Sixteen familis are continuing to work on their home grounds this year. Landscaping plans have been made for .most of these families. With this project the families will not only enjoy the beauty themselves but will help in keeping Rappahannock County on of the most beautiful counties in the state.
