Flint Hill News Notes

The Rev. J. Aurey Williams, District Supervisor, conducted the" 11 o’clock services at the Flint Hill Methodist church Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker of Arlington arrived Wednesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Ccok for a visit of several days. On Friday, Mrs. Cook and her houseguests and her granddaughter, Linda spent the day in Washington, D. C.. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Walker motored to Fredericksburg where they were guests of Mr. Walker’s mother, Mrs. Mary Walker. They remained until Sunday, returning to their home in Arlington on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr. had as their dinner guests Saturday evening Mrs. Roert L. Massie and son, Robert L. Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford Jr. and family, Marvin III and Virginia Yates were dinner guests on Sunday of Mrs. Robert L. Massie. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood and family, Arments, Ruth and Burrell were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr.

Charlie Smith and Jackie Dabney celebrated their eighth birthdays bn Friday with a party given in Miss Dodson’s room.

Miss Minnie Williams was a weekend guest of her brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams of Front Royal.

Mrs. C. Dudley Wood and Miss Frances Wood were di—*r guests on Sunday of Mrs. Russell Wood and MisS Ruth Stevens.

P. D. Dennis and daughter, Mrs, Huck Dennis attended the funeral on Monday of Mr. Dennis’ sister, Mrs. Joe Dennis at Harrisurg.
