When furniture in a home can be insured for around $3.00 per $1,000.00 can you afford not to have it insured?

I have heard the remark that with three fire companies in the county there is no need for insurance. , A fire company is no guarantee that a fire will not break out. The firemen can only help put out the fire after it has been discovered. And sometimes the fire has gained such headway your furniture or home can not be saved.

If you think you can afford to be without fire insurance ask any fireman, I doubt if you will find a fireman in the county that does not have his home and furniture fully insured.
