Citizenship was selected as the Federation Goal by the home demonstration clubs in Rappahannock county. Points “being stressed by the H. D. clubs are: a study of state government so the citizens of the county will be better informed about state government; develop leadership both H. D. and 4-H in the county; and become better informed alout our neighbors by writing to. “Pen Women” and talk by an IF YE student.
Mrs. Anne Thompson, county goal chairman, has been very busy the last several months preparing for each of the club goal chairman, a summary of how our state government works. The goal chairman in each of the clubs are: Washington, Mrs. Guy Burke; Flint Hill, Mrs. Paul Miller; Amissville, Mrs. Catherine Riley; Sperryville, Mrs. Anne Thompson; Castleton, Mrs. John Woodward; F. T., Mrs. M. W. Brown; Huntly, Mrs. Barbara Gentry;
