Bridge Parties.

Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance entertained four tables at bridge on Tuesday night. Those playing were Mrs. Thomas J. Pillar, Mrs. C. H. Estes, Mrs. John P. Snead, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Frankey Menefee, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. Ray Reeve, Mrs. R. E. Thompson, Mrs. George L. Taylor, Mrs. H. C. Warwick and Mrs. R. V. Snead.

High score prize for club ^embers was awarded to Mrs. Schaeffer; high for guests, Mrs. Brown Miller; low, Mrs. Wood; and the prize offered for the one who took most tricks with a duece went to Mrs. Frankie Menefee.

Gilbert Updike is a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Updike has been making daily trips to Front Royal to visit her husband. The extent of his illness is undetermned.
