The New Year It seems but yesterday was the beginning of the year, ' , , But now it has waned and another is here. It is now numbered with those before Which makes the history of yore. To some it was a year of joy and Play, Yet for others it was the end of the way. - Also- to-many—the- New—Year—wdd— again, Be a repetition of sorrow and pain. Though to ^some it will be a year of delight Since they have found “The Way the Truth and the Light.” Many will resolutions make Only to find they are easy to break. Why not resolve to trust in One, Who will carry you through and lead you on To higher realms of success, Enabling you to meet the test. Though the years come and soon wane But Thou Christ art still the same. Thy matchless grace doth still avail For every soul for which Thou dost stand bail. G. M. P.
