Saint P. Jenkins, a beloved aged native of Washington, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Racer, Thursday morning, March 18. , **Mr.Saintie” had beeu in declining health for more than a year and quite ill for the past three weeks.
A son of the late Alfred Stuart Jenkins and Lucy Catherine Dearing Jenkins, both of Rappahannock, Mr. Jenkins spent the entirity of his days in Rappahannock. He was married to —Venie Burke, deceased? 7 . Funeral services were conducted from the residence by the Rev. G. M. Prefitt, Saturday morning with burial in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his daughter,. Mrs. Clarence Racer of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. John M. Kline of Manassas and Mrs. Daniel Dodson of Boyces two brothers, Gordon and Frank Jenkins of - Washington; a granddaughter, Mrs. Donald Glick of Port Republic and two great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers tor the. funeral service were Charles T. Bruce, Luther Racer, Clarence E. Giles, Judd Burke, Guy Burke and Upton Weakley.
