X-ray Clinic Be Held
At Washington
Cooperating with the medical pro-, fession of the county a tuberculosis clinic will be held April 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p. m. in Washington, Va., at Health Department, under the direction of a specialist from the State Department of Health. There will be no charge except for the chest x-rays at a maximum cost of one dollar ($1.00) per person.
A written request for these examinations must be obtained from your doctor.
Upon obtaining this written request apply to your local county nurse for a clinic appointment well in advance of the clinic. Only a limited number of persons may be examined and xrayed in these elinics, hence appointments made prior to the clinic date are imperative to obtain this service.
It can not be too strongly emphasized that tuberculosis is a communicable disease. Everyone who is or has recently been, exposed to a known case of tuberculosis in the home or elsewhere should be examined and x-rayed periodically either by the family physician or by the state clinician.
