The contest begins on Monday, March 22, and will continue through April 9. Judges will be members of the Virginia Ports Development Committee and the Virginia State Ports Authority’s Board of Commisssioners. Entries must be postmarked not later than midnight April 9, and must include the suggested name, reasons for the name submitted, “homeroom teacher or principal’s name and the name and address of the contestant.-In the event that two . or more identical entries are received, the earliest postmarked entry will be given consideration by the judges.

Winners will be announced on Friday, April 23.
