Mrs. T. J. Pillai, who has been spending some time in Norfolk with her mother, Mrs. Morton, who is recovering from a long illness, returned to her home in Jenkins'Hollow last weHc.
Mrs. George W. Brown accompanied Rev. and Mrs. H. G. Thach and a party from Flint Hill to North Garden on Thursday where they attended the district meeting of all the M.E. churches of the Charlottesville District.
Danny Clater, who is recovering from an opertion on his leg, returned to classes at the Sperryville Elementary School on Monday. Danny who has been suffering for sometime with a leg ailment, underwent an operation at the Warren Memorial Hospital, is improving; Miss Louise O'Bannon had as her week-end guests Mrs. R. G. Quaintance of Woodville, and Miss^ Samuella Crim of New Market. On~ Sunday additional dinner guests of Miss O’Bannon were Prof. Allen Reddick, student of Episcopal Seminary in Alexandria, who conducted services at the Emmanuel Church at • 11 o'clock, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Miss Louise Schwartz, Harry Stephenson and W. L. Yancey.
