Letter To The Editor
The Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia, has design^ ated Tuesday, April 20th as Cleanup Day.
As in the past, during the Clean-up Campaign, we are seeking the co-operation and support of all business and civic organizations connected with the town, as well as each individual citizen, to make it a success.
Last year during the campaign a citizen suggested that we encourage everyone to plant at least one dogwood. Since, it was too late at that time to follow through with the idea we hope to see it realized this year.
Roy Henzel, the assistant County Agent and Fred Hutchinson, the FFA teacher have volunteered to supervise the 4-H and FFA Boys in getting the dogwood trees to he planted.
