Mrs. A. C. Latham entertained at dinner Sunday. Her guests were Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne, Mr. and Mrs.> J. R. Latham and family and Mr.* and Mrs. A. C. Latham Jr. and family.

Rev. Harold Carder was a dirmer guest of Mrs. Ethel Cooksey on Sunday. Misses Annie and Allie Cooksey and Mrs. Frances Staap visited Mrs. Cooksey in the afternoon. _Mrs. James Smith of Washington,_ D. C. spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Rowzie visited Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Rowzie on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Rowzie was a week end guest of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Rowzie.

Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham and Mrs. James Smith were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Duncan.

Master Billy Smith spent a week end' with his grandmother, Mrs. Joseph L. Sullivan of Washington, D. C.

Mrs. Robert Gowen Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gowen and Mrs. R. H. Gowen from Hague, Westmoreland County were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Frances Staap and daughter, Sandra.
