Commencement Exercises At Jane’s Private School
Commencement Exercises at Jane’s Private School, Front Royal, 145 9th Street, will be held Saturday morning, May 29 on the school lawn at 10 o’clock. All parents and friends are cordially invited to attend.
If raining, the program will be cancelled.
PLASTIC PARTY
About 20 persons were present at the plastic party given by Mrs. Ruddy Thornhill in the home of Mrs. Stant Weaver, Thursday evening. Following the interesting demonstration, delicious refreshments were served by the hostess.
IN IMPROVED HEALTH
Mrs. F. R. Slaughter, a former resident of Washington, continues to improve from her very recent illness and is now spending several weeks with her daughter, Mrs. Warren Slaughter and Mr. Slaughter in Alexandria.
Flint Hill Boy Scouts Organize 2 Patrols The Boy Scouts of Flint Hill held their weekly meeting on May 12 with 14 boys present including one new member. First Aid and Morse Code Instruction for Advance Scouts were given by Instructor Paul Nichols. Nine Scouts are planning to attend the Boy Scout’s camp, Rock lLn°"at Gore. Two Patrols, Wolf and Owl,-were organized.
