As one of the “older residents” of Amissville I should like to take this opportunity to thank the “newcomers,” or outlanders as we dull witless hillbillies call them, for solidly establishing, organizing, and bearing the burden of our major community project.
It’s the first organization I ever heard of that took only a couple of “blowhards” to establish and manage.
I think it’s time they quit pat* ting themselves on the back and sat down, or their “hardearned” laurels might slide out of their; laps.
