Mrs. Maury Brown spent last Tuesday to Thursday in King George to be at the bedside of her mother, Mrs. W. A. DeShazo, who remains seriously ill. On Friday evening, Miss Barbara DeShazo of Fredericksburg came for a week-end visit with het cousin, Miss Jean Brown. Friday night* Miss Brown and her guest were overnight guests of Mrs. Phyllis Brown Shirey in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper were week-end guests at “Barlow,” the home of Mrs. Mabel Gore and Mrs. Helen Bruce.

Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and^ Mrs. A. R. Partlow visited their brother, Robert F. Brown, who has been hospitalized in Norfolk, following an accident while at work which badly crippled his feet as well as other complications._

Mrs. F. D. Coffey and Mrs. Harry L. Smith were guests on Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Rector in Fauquier Co. Mrs. Coffey Jr. and Miss Elizabeth Smith visited Mrs. Coffey’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers in Flint Hill.

Misses Eibba, Della and Beulah Hitt and their home guest, Miss Nettie Bontz and Mrs. George W. Brown spent last Saturday in Charlottesville.
