Garlicky Wheat To Be Released To Farmers
Garlicky wheat owned by the Commodity Credit Corporation and now stored in several elevorators in Virginia will be released to farmers and feed processors for livestock feed at a special price, the Virginia State Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee has just announced.
The wheat Tias been acquired by CCC under the 1953 support price loan program. It will be sold on a competitive bid per bu. basis but at a price not less than the 1953 corn loan rate plus one-halk a cent (V2c) loading out charge at the point of storage. The purchaser assumes the cost of trucking or freight.
At the time of sale the purchaser must sign a certification that the wheat will be used only as livestock or poultry feed and that it will not be used for milling or for human consumption in any
