Mrs. Carol Webster of Marshall is conducting a Red Cross Home Nursing Course beginning next week. If you would like to take this course, please contact Mrs. Kathleen Lawrence in Sperryville. The classes are held in the First Baptist Church, Washington, Va. on Monday and Friday nights. Anyone is welcome.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Lewis were his sisters, Mr. and Mrs. John Strother of Boston, Mrs. Vinda Glasker and her son, Herman of Castleton.
Mrs. Fannie Jackson received word Monday morning that her daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Harrison of Washington, D. C. was in an automobile wreck Sunday evening which resulted in lacerations of the face and eyes. The accident occurred in Washington, D. C. She is in Galliijger Hospital.
“Miss Home Economics VI” was won by Jane Wallace, May 21, at Carver High School.
“Miss N.F.A.” was won by Miss Annie Ficklin of Amissville
Mrs. Estell Dennis spent the -week end in Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Sarah Russell of Washington, D. C. was a week end guest of Miss Mildred Timbers. Saturday afternoon Miss Timbers and Mrs. Russell motored to Luray.
