“DICKIE” WAYLAND ABOARD USS BRAINE
Richard V. Wayland, fireman, U.S.N., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wayland of F. T. Valley, Sperry ville, Va., is serving aboard the destroyer USS Braine, operating out of Newport, R. I.
Wayland, who entered the Navy on May 11, 1954, reported aboard from the destroyer USS Cone.
He is a former student of the Sperryville High School.
