Huntly H. D. Club met at the home of Mrs. G. W. Powers on Monday night. During business a Christmas Gift to Reager school children was discussed.
The demonstration was on making candy and frostings. After ' the demonstration everyone entered in the Christmas spirit with a party.
Mrs. Charles Bruce entertained fourteen at the Washington H.D. club. The group welcomed a new member, Mrs. John Frizzell.
Club officers and leaders selected were: Federation goal chairman—Mrs. ,C. G. Reid; Pro-' gram Dev. leader—Mrs. Ada Up- - dike; Youth Goal chairman—Mrs. Harry Rutherford; Home Management leaders—Mrs. Ma-— bel Racer and Mrs. Edna Walker; House Furnishing leaders— Mrs. H. J. Racer and Mrs. D. D. Miller; Craft leaders—Mrs. John Frizzell and Mrs. Guy Burke.
The demonstration was on frosting a cake and making candies. The meeting closed with!<a Christmas party and an exchange of gifts.
Mrs. Charles Green was hostess for Amissville H. D. club. During business session the members voted to buy 3 more strings of outside ± Christmas lights for the community Christmas tree. This makes a total of 150 lights purchased by the H. D. club. The demonstration was on frostings and candy making with Mrs. Green assisting the agent. The meeting closed with the eichange of gifts. ,!
Mrs. R. M. Johnson entertained the Woodville home demonstration club' for their Christmas j party. The demonstration was on making Seven Minute Frosting and Candies for Christmas. Miss Nellie Johnson assisted with this demonstration. The meeting closed with jthe exchange of gifts by the home demonstration ladies. Mrs. Betty Powers, entertained Slate Mills Home Demonstration Club Friday night. The group Welcomed Mrs. Dennis L. Regan as - a new member. Guests were Mrfc. Carl Reese, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. Edward W. Reese and Mrs. John Hixon. During the business session Mrs. Robert Boyd ' was appointed Historian for the club.
