Dr. Carl Kauffman Receives State Appointment x
Dr. Carl A. Kauffman, of Suffolk, formerly of Luray, has been appointed by Governor Stanley for a second term of five years to thc State Board of Examiners in OptometryC He was originally placed on the Board by the former Governor William Tuck.
Dr. Kaufmann was born in Luray and graduated from Luray High School. He attended Luray College and received his Doctor ol Optometry degree at Northern Illinois College of Optometry in 1929. He did post graduate studies at William and Mary Extension, Norfolk, Va., and also did research in vision at Ohio State University. ,. .. ,
