The R.C.H.S. Basketball teams remain unbeaten, having defeated Tom’s Brook and James Wood. In the game played with James Wood, the score was: Varsity, 4340, with Bobby Atkins as high scorer. The Junior Varsity also defeated James Wood with a score of 21-19. Glen Updike was high scorer.
In the games with Toms Brook, the R.C.H.S. girls won with a score of 75-51. Alice Leake was high scorer. The Panthers triumphed 55-41. Donald Liscomb was hijgji scorer.
Foster Gresham of Longwood College talked with the Junior and Senior girls. Some expressed interest in spending a week end at Longwood as guests of the college. Each girl received a copy of the, latest bulletin from Longwood College.
R.C.H.S. has an author! Clayburn Kuhn’s article on “Trapping in Virginia” appeared in the November issue of “Fur, Fish and Game Magazine.” , —Lelia Gentry

Bridge Party
Mrs. J. W. Price entertained the Washington Bridge Club on 1 Friday evening for dessert bridge at her home, The Maples. Those playing were Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. Robert L. Massie, Mrs. Elizabeth H. DeBergh, Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs* T. C. Lea, Mrs. W. F. Moffett and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
After the game, Mrs. Price presented prizes to Mrs. D. D. Miller, for high score; Mrs. B. M. Miller, traveling; and Mrs. George Davis, consolation.
