Amissville News Mr. Clement’s flock were glad to have him with them Saturday and Sunday.' He gave them two fine sermons—food for the soul. Mr. Clement has been yery much indisposed and his people have been anxious about him; but he was looking fine and we know he was feeling all right or he could not have spoken so well. Little Miss Laura Anderson is boarding with Miss Virginia Doyle and attending the High School. The Club met at Mrs. Humphries’ on Saturday night and was entertained at a Tacky Party. Those present were Misses Board, Berry, Silvey, Briggs, Virginia - Doyle, Mary Anderson, Mary Hughes, Ethel Corbin, Miss Mary Hughes won the prize for being the most tacky. She was dressed in Colonial style. Messrs. Luttrell Armstrong, Hughes, Doyle, Moffett Spilman, David Silvey and James Timberlake. The gentlemen did not get a prize.
Mrs. Ernest Crain visited Mrs. W. R. Spilman of Laurel Mills, Saturday and Sunday. - -
