Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid of Washington, has attained a Distinguished Rating in his first semester work at Purdue University, actording to a release from the Office of the Registrar. To attain this rating, die student must make an average of “5” or better for all work carried during the semester.
Mr. Reid, a sophomore in mechanical engineering, is a graduate of Washington High School, and previous to entering, Purdue, attended the University of North Carolina.
