Recently, ■ study was made to determine the present state of health and well-being of 78 diabetics who had been placed on a diet and Insulin twenty years before. Previous to Dr. Bantings discovery of Insulin in 1922, their chance of survival for more than twq or three years would have been slight. h was found that 77 of the 78, or 98 percent, were alive and living; active, useful lives.
