Jones, Secretary, of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee, do hereby certify that the following is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted at a meeting of said committee held at the Court-House in Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia, on the 25th day of March, 1955: "Resolved that the nomination of the candidate of; the Dem- " ' ocratic Party for the county offices in Rappahannock ' County, including Treasurer. Commissioner of the Revenue, Sheriff, Members of the Board of Supervisors, and*'Com• monwealth Attorney, to be voted upon in the general election to be held in said county on November 8, 1955, shall be by the direct Primary method, and that the Primary for the nomination of said Democratic Party candidates for the county offices in Rappahannock County shall be held on July 12, 1955, pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary Lave and that all candidates for such county offices shall file their declaration of candidacy with Jsunes W. Fletcher, Chairman, Rappahlnnock County Democratic Committee, Sperryville, Virginia, at least ninety (90) days - before the said Primary to be held on July 12, 1955, and * that if not more than one candidate files for each of said positions, he be declared the Democratic county office in Rappahannock County."
