The Hon. Tom Frost, of Warrenton, Va., Rappahannock county’s representative in the General Assembly, appeared before the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors at their meeting: on Wednesday, August 1, 1956, and with few preliminary remarks, declared in a most positive manner, that he would go to the special session of the Legislature called by Governor Stanley for August 28, and do everything in his power to keep the Schools of Virginia segregated.

The One Hundred Sixty-Second Annual Session of the Shiloh Baptist Association will be held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Haywood, Va., on Wednesday and Thursday August 8th and 9 th.
