Mr. Palmer stated that his Organisation had been chartered by the state for about one and a half yean.
He asked the Board to allow the military forces and the reserre forces to help maintain the air strips and roads.
The Board took the matter under advisement and will pass on the request at the September meeting.
Mr. Palmer was introduced by T. J. Pillar, real estate broker, of Sperryville.

Campaign Opens
An insurance campaign with headquarters in Washington, Va., to introduce the Union Bankers 1 plan in this area is being conducted by W. E. Wimmer of Richmond, representing the Union Bankers Insurance Company. This is a voluntary community hospitalization, medical and surgical plan offering coverage for either individuals or family groups, said Mr. Wimmer.
It provides prepaid medical care in emergencies and always by the doctor of one’s choice. It is good in any hospital and pays full benefits for all ages. According to statements made by the company, it carries a particular appeal to elderly persons in that applications are accepted “regardless of age.’’
