NIAGARA FALLS, N. Y. — . Swimmers from two nations will compete here August 3, 4 and 5 in the fourth annual International Canadian-American synchronised swimming meet. Sanctioned by the National Amateur Athletic Union, the competition is jointly sponsored by North Niagara Falls Kiwanis club, with cooperation of the Departments , of Recreation and Parks, the American Red Cross, Y. W: C. A. and the Niagara Falls Convention and Visitors bureau.
It brings thousands of visitors to the Falls and outranks national championships in both countries in geographical representation and number of entries. A. A. U. medal awards will be made in solo, duet and teamsynchronised swimming. Other top awards are Billie McKellar 'cup, NNF Kiwanis club cups for duet and team performance and the Gordon Bennett club championship trophy. Proceeds go to the NNF Kiwanis club for underprivileged children.'
