WASHINGTON
Newbill Miller and a friend, Joe Duffield, a student at LaFayette College, N. J., were guests over the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
Mr. Miller and Mr. Duffield, who have been at A. P. Hill Military Reservation for the past two weeks will return to Fort Meade to complete their R.O.T.C. training.
Mrs. E. M. Jones and her three children, Miss Becky Jones, Segar and Ned Moffett, returned to their home here on Friday after spending several days at Blackstonie, Va., with Mrs. Jones’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Gravatt.
Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill had with them for dinner on Sunday, Mrs. R. L. Cheatham an$ son, “Bucksie” Cheatham. Also Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Aylor of Madison.
Leon Bailey, who is now located ed at Cumberland, Md., joined his family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill for the weekend.
