C.’s on a rain-soaked diamond. Gordonsville had captured first place as a result of Madisop Blue Jays withdrawal from the league.
After Gordonsville had scored an unearned run in the top of the 1st, Elmer Foster slapped a basesloaded single to bat in Flint Hill’s half, which started and ended Flint Hill’s scoring for the day. But Gordonsville pushed across the tying run in between strikeouts in the 7th. That was all until the fateful 11th.
