HUrry over and you’ll arrive just in time to take part in all the frolic and festivities commemorating one of France’s oldest and most historic dates — July 14th. Bastille Day. You’ll feel right at home, because just like in the States on the 4th of July—there are big parades with troops, veteran and civic organizations taking part, and thousands of people lining the streets or watching from reviewing stands. In the evening, Street Balls are held all over France and. as it gets a little darker there is a new touch-*-torchlight parades!
Finally, the whole happy day is topped-off with a bang, when, at eleven the skies, as Jar as the eye can see, light up with the magical color of fireworks!
Speaking of "lighting up —I already can see your eyes lighting up as we visit some of the worldvs most famous restaurants over here! Pressed Duck in the Tour d’Argent, here in Paris, is simply out of this world! And another delightful dish is the delicious fish chowder. Bouillabaisse. found in its most excellent state in Marseilles. We’ll find it, too, because that’s where we're going right after Bastille Day. I ve already made all the
